Jack is a respected musician and teacher whose credits include Steve Prestwich, The Rebecca Johnson Band, Three Piece Suite, Clive Suares, Bridie King, The Blazing Suns, Dwane Lee and ‘Pocket, Bob Downe & The Hollywood Horns (Edinburgh Festival), Liza Ohlback, Chiara Browne and many more.
The heart and soul of the Kites. Guy was a member of iconic Sydney nightclub funksters “Torrid Zone” – resident band at The Hilton hotel, Sydney. He is the bass player bands love to have, with a huge groove, a wonderful voice, great sense of humour – and he’s a top recording engineer to boot. Guy has played with Greg Walker (Santana), jammed with Sergio Mendes, Osibisa & The Commodores.
Michael has worked across multiple genres and settings, from rock and jazz to classical. He has composed for theatre and film and as a sideman he has worked with everyone from Kerrie Bidell, John Farnham, Tina Arena and The Supremes to didgeridoo player Charlie McMahon for his Gondwanaland project.
Michael has also worked in small and large jazz ensembles with many of Australia’s finest jazz musicians including the Scott Tinkler quartet, Julian Lee, John Hoffman Big Band, Dale Barlow, Emma Pask and The Sydney All Stars Big Band. He has also played with American trombonist Carl Fontana and trumpeter Chuck Findlay.
One of Australia’s best known drummers, Paul has shared the stage with talents as diverse as: Leon Berger, Marcia Hines, America, Seals & Crofts and even Jaco Pastorius. Paul is also a songwriter and producer, with his songs recorded in Nashville by the legendary Barry Beckett.
